From the GM - pronouns
In a discussion, when you find yourself saying 'I', you're learning.   When you find yourself saying 'you', you're arguing.  When you find yourself saying 'we', you're growing.

As of this current date, OKT is in a period of 'restricted' recruitment.  Family and friends are free to join at any time.  For new members, there is a short screening process to help ascertain if you're a fit for us, and we for you.

How do you become a member?
You will want to read our OKT Wiki if you are thinking about joining or have just joined.
Either register at this website now, or you will be asked to register at this website when you ask to join.
Your registration will be automatically activated--check your email for the activation link.

OKT accepts all levels because we know that level 80 players all started out as level 1s. We have all been (and still are) 'noobs.' We will help you grow your game. You'll be free to play your game your way, especially in a game like this where there are so many options. If you're getting close to endgame, we have good resources to support pvp, raiding progression and endgame instances.

Read our Code of Conduct when you can to make sure you follow the rules, but here are the important ones:

NO DRAMA
PLAY NICE
KEEP IT CLEAN
FOLLOW SERVER LOOT RULES
DONT BEG FOR GOLD OR RUNS
Don't spam, and
Practice good game etiquette so that you do not bring embarrassment or dishonor to OKT Play nice, keep it clean and NO drama.   Drama gets dealt with dramatically.

The general rule is:  Don't beg for g0ld or runs, but there are some exceptions where you can ask.

 Exceptions:

G0LD: If you are in real need of g0ld for training or repairs (not just something you want to buy!) ask politely in channel if anyone can help you and say what the reason is. You are expected to earn your own 'spending' money, just like in real life.  When you get caught short for necessities as sometimes happens, then the guild can help.  Don't abuse the help.

GEAR and Mats: The Guild Bank is WELL stocked.  If you don't see items you need in the Guild bank, we also have them stored elsewhere (especially significant stocks of under level 70 items and mats.) Contact or send an ingame mail to our Quartermaster, Lightofdeath/Darknesz.  Or post in the guild website Quartermaster forum about what you need, and you'll have it mailed to you.

RUN-THROUGHS:  Try your best to get a group of your own level range.  If you can't, we can make run throughs so you can complete your quests.  Do some homework and get all the quests.  Then make arrangements to schedule a run-through on Guild Help days.  Post in the website forums or contact our help officer ingame to schedule.
